More than 400 attendees from Member Firms, M Financial, and industry partners gathered for four days at the J.W. Mariott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa to explore our differences, learn from shared ideas, and become stronger as a result.
And importantly, M Marketing Meeting 2023: Our Difference Is Our Strength was a time to connect as friends and colleagues united in a spirit of growth and optimism for the future.
M’s annual meeting showcased thought leadership from across the M Community and featured keynote speakers who are recognized experts in their respective fields, including performance coach Alan Stein, Jr., workplace expert Clint Pulver, bestselling author Dan Heath, and world-renowned economist Pippa Malmgren.
M Financial President & CEO Russell Bundschuh kicked off the event by presenting the steps taken over the past year to strengthen M’s portfolio of solutions and services and outlining the road ahead for growth and continued success.
“We have all of the pieces needed to build upon the innovation that drove our Founders — Carl Mammel, Eli Morgan, Peter Mullin, and Mark Solomon — to disrupt our industry yet again and transform it in ways never before imagined,” he said. “With the ongoing involvement and support of this incredible and unique community, there is nothing that can stop us.”
Bundschuh also hosted an engaging Partner Carrier panel discussion with Darryl Button, CEO of Pacific Life, and Brooks Tingle, CEO of John Hancock.
The event included many opportunities to connect as a community, including a grand finale at the Knibbe Ranch — one of the few remaining Century Heritage Ranches in Texas — that delivered a fun evening of dining, dancing, and entertainment.
