M Financial Group Welcomes The Benefits Group, LLC to Network of Member Firms
PORTLAND, OR, January 18, 2012 – M Financial Group ("M Financial") today introduced The Benefits Group, LLC ("TBG, LLC") as their newest Provisional Member Firm. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a satellite office in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, TBG, LLC provides estate planning solutions for high net worth individuals, succession planning for business owners, and retirement planning solutions for closely-held businesses. Additionally, TBG, LLC works closely with major universities and other 501(c)3 organizations to develop and implement innovative programs to support fundraising efforts. TBG, LLC joins M Financial's elite network of more than 130 independent firms.
TBG, LLC was founded in 1977 by Don Jackson, who focuses primarily on estate planning. A member of The Society of FSP, NAPFA, a Life Member of MDRT, and The Knoxville Estate Planning Council, Don was also a founder and charter member of the Tennessee Employee Benefits Council. He speaks regularly on issues of tax planning, asset preservation, and the benefits of using charitable planning. Don is joined by Michael Collins, who, with more than 39 years in the industry, specializes in the development of supplemental executive compensation programs and unique planning opportunities to high net worth individuals and businesses. Michael serves as a board member for several non-profit charitable organizations and initiatives.
